ASSIGNMENTS
There are two sets of assignments in this class.
Some assignments are only mentioned during class period. They are designed to encourage you to attend the class and pay attention to the discussions. If for any reason you missed the online class, you would need to watch the class recording. You can also ask your classmates whether an assignment is due or not.
Five assignments are officially posted in this page. The date that they will be expected to be posted with the deadlines are posted. Please note that depending on class progress, the dates could be modified for future assignments. Please make sure to consult the Writing Reports and General Guidelines pages before submitting your work.
Assignment 1: Casting Processes
Assignment Date: September 22nd
Selected Presentation Date: September 29th
Submission Date: 5:00 PM October 1st.
Study your textbook and other online resources about metal casting processes. Select one casting process and produce a PowerPoint presentation explaining that process. Keep number of slides between 10 to 30. Avoid too much text copied and pasted from online sources. Include enough images, videos (short) and links so your document would explain that process quite clearly.
Assignment 2: Rolling Processes
Assignment Date: October 14th
Selected Presentation Date: October 27th
Submission Date: 5:00 PM October 23rd.
