Simulation
This website is an integrated part of IEGR 410 : Discrete Event Simulation course. All class participants are required to use the website for information about the course, assignments and report writing guidelines. It is extremely important that you follow rules set for class in relation to class participation, work submission, community of learning and Morgan State University on academic integrity and ethics.
Guidelines Writing Reports-
SIMIO® is the software used in the course. Full academic version is available at SB 103 and SB 307 labs. Student version can be obtained by SIMIO by the registered students of the class.
Lab Assignments -
Two projects are assigned for the course, both are due in the second part of the class after the mid-term exam. Projects require professional reports (final project also requires presentation).
Simulation Projects -
Class lectures will cover three main areas: random number generation, simulation modeling, and input/output analysis. Queuing theory, statistical analysis & SIMIO work are expected.
