Printing the Report
Arena's report is separated into several categories that for large models is very useful to have.  However, for small models most of the pages are blank. For such models, an efficient way of printing the pages is the use of output format of the earlier versions of Arena.  This output is called SIMAN output and is a very condensed text format design that contains only the information that are generated. To get that output report, after building your model and when you are ready to run the simulation, do the followings:

From the Run menu, select Setup.

From the Run Setup window, change the Default Report from Category Overview to SIMAN Summary Report (.out file).

As soon as you make the selection, the default application (Window's Notepad) is displayed in the box Display SIMAN summary report (.out file) using: just below the Default Report box.

Click OK and run the simulation.  The output will be displayed in a Windows Notepad which is very easy to print.

Creating Data Files for Input Analyzer from Microsoft Excel
If your data is already in an Excel file, follow these steps:

First we need to save our data in a format that Input Analyzer recognizes.  Block the data in Excel and then save it (Ctrl+C or Edit/Save).

Then launch Notepad and paste the data in Notepad (Ctrl+V or Edit/Paste).

Save the new Notepad file.  Make sure that the selection for Save as type:  is selected to be All Files  and the name that you select for your file has an extension of for .dst.

Now launch Input Analyzer. From the File  menu, select New.

From File  select Data File  and Use Existing ... to open a data set.  The Open  window box is expecting a file with the extension of .dst.

Select the appropriate file and click OpenInput Analyzer opens the data set with a histogram of the data.  For more information, check the Help in Input Analyzer.
